Non U.S.
movie posters of American films often times surpass U.S. posters in design
quality. For example, the Italian and British version of The Godfather
features a profile of Marlon Brando unlike the U.S. version making it highly
sought after. The Australian posters for Halloween are the only posters
from the first Halloween movie to actually feature Michael Myers making them
extremely collectible and hard to obtain. The From Russia With Love
poster from the U.S. can not even compare to the beautiful stone litho French
version.

BRITISH QUAD
Measure approx. 30" x 40",
come on both paper stock and card stock. Horizontal format. Most common and most
collectible of British movie posters. Used to be issued folded, now issued
rolled.
BRITISH HALF SHEET
Measure
approx. 22" x 28" just like the American half sheet and uses the same format. Can
be rolled or folded and not as common as the British Quad.
BRITISH ONE SHEET
Measure
approx. 27" x 40" just like our American one sheet. Printed in Britain for use in
other countries such as Canada or African states. Used to be issued folded but
now come rolled.

AUSTRALIAN DAYBILL
Measure approx. 13" x 30".
Issued folded in 3. Daybills are a perfect
size for framing and make great
decorations for the home. They are scarce and
often feature unique and superior artwork. Virtually all
daybills are now hard to obtain, they are becoming increasingly
popular due to the very low number of each produced. They are a good investment in entertainment history.

ITALIAN LOCANDINA
Measure 13" x 28" - similar to our insert, but on
paper stock.
ITALIAN PHOTOBUSTA
Measure 14" x 20" until the late 50's when the
size changed to 20" x 28" and/or approximately 18" x 26".
ITALIAN DOUBLE PHOTOBUSTA
Measure 28" x 40" until the late

Japanese movie posters from before WWII are almost impossible to find.
