Gently used and well preserved. The back has yellowed a bit but the front remains beautiful! A few small aging/yellowing spots can be seen if looked at closely (not very noticeable). Someone has written in ink the names of the Beatles and a few of the characters.

EXTREMELY RARE COMPARED TO A ONE SHEET. A vertical format American movie poster measuring 40"x60" printed on a heavy card stock material. Most 40"x60"’s feature the same artwork as the one sheet and were issued rolled. They were primarily offered for major motion pictures only and were displayed both inside and outside of theatres. A 40x60 poster display would cost the theater up to 20 times as much as a one sheet to rent. Only a few hundred of these were printed, and it was only printed once. Unlike the one sheet which was printed in quantities of 10,000 and up. The NSS number is normally found on the side on the poster, as opposed to the lower bottom as is the case with one-sheets. VERY difficult to find in Near Mint condition because the card stock can crease easily. Studios have stopped issuing these.

US 1 One Sheet Original Movie Poster MOCK UP 27x41

This is not supposed to exist!! Mock ups for one sheets are extremely, extremely rare. In fact, this is the only mock up we have ever seen for ANY title one sheet!

There are two versions of the Yellow Submarine one sheet, the 11 song version and the dozen song version. This is the transition mock up. It is made from a tri-folded 11 song version one sheet. Sometime shortly after they printed the 11 song version, they decided to make changes to the poster. The movie was released domestically with 11 songs, while it was released internationally with 12 songs (it may have had a very limited domestic release with 12 songs). This mock up was used by the printers/designers to make notes and changes for the new dozen song version. They changed some colors, added a band, added a giant blue hand, and cut out and moved the apple.

Not in perfect shape but still very presentable. Some tears, printer/designer notations, some scotch tape holding down the new additions, small pieces missing middle right and left side. Truly one of a kind.

Comes ALREADY FRAMED in a custom deluxe archival frame with UV filtered non glare Plexiglas. Exactly like the ones we sell here.

This comes from a former studio executive who used to visit the printing facility back in the late 1960's. He had the authority to take whatever he wanted......so he did! This was supposed to have been thrown out years ago. A fascinating piece of movie poster history!! Close up picture 1, 2.
