EXTREMELY RARE COMPARED TO A REGULAR FOLDED ONE SHEET. This poster is an
absolutely authentic rolled one sheet that was issued to theaters. Folded
ones are quite common compared to this one. There are a TON of rolled
reprints, this is NOT one of them. Has all the correct NSS info., NSS numbers, GAU logo, and is identical in size and printing quality to the machine
folded ones we have. Again, this is NOT A REPRINT!! Reprints differ slightly
in size and are lacking the bottom NSS info..

EXTREMELY RARE COMPARED TO A ONE SHEET. Printed on a very heavy card stock
material. Most 30" x 40"’s feature the same artwork as the one sheet and were
issued rolled. The National Screen Service number is
normally found on the side on the poster, as opposed to the lower bottom as is
the case with one-sheets. VERY difficult to find in Near Mint condition because
the card stock can crease easily. Studios have stopped issuing these. This one
has two small clean tears in the top left corner and has some border dings.
All would be unnoticeable when framed. They are very minor defects that are
quite common for cardboard posters. They are so minor that they do not even
show up in the high resolution photo. Does not need to be backed or
restored.

This is a beautiful example of an original 27"x41" U.S. one sheet movie poster
from the 1955 classic "REVENGE OF THE CREATURE". These are EXTREMELY DIFFICULT
to find in any condition! Every time we see one of these it has been linen
backed. THIS ONE IS COMPLETELY UNRESTORED AND IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION!!
Highly sought after. The rarity
and desirability of this poster can not be emphasized enough! This is the first
sequel to "Creature From the Black Lagoon and it was followed by "The Creature
Walks Among Us". A long time can go by without one of these coming up for sale.
Collectors AND non collectors love to display this poster. You will have trouble
finding a nicer one anywhere. Gently used and well preserved, just some very
minor handling wear. See photo below for a close up of the back. Graded EX C8
Excellent condition. If a vintage poster is in terrific unrestored condition
like this one (EX C8 or better), many experienced collectors will place a
premium on it (when compared to a linen backed/restored one). Most experienced
collectors prefer unrestored items to restored ones because they believe they
will appreciate more in value. When buying collectibles it is always wise to buy
"the best of the best" as they stand a greater chance of appreciation. This
poster is considered to be within that class and is definitely INVESTMENT
QUALITY. You can't go wrong when buying Universal Horror!
