Morgillo Litho. in New York City in 1908. This was for the re-release of the
1898 film "The Passion Play of Ober-Ammergau.
One of the
first movies ever made!
This is for the earliest
Passion Play filmed in America that they have any traces of. What remains of
it is being kept at the Eastman archive in Rochester, NY. The movie was made
in 1897, but did not debut until January of 1898. It played at a specially
outfitted theater on Broadway called the Eden Musee (which is now the Winter
Garden theater in New York).
A
beautiful full color stone litho, this is an extremely rare poster and much
nicer than the bland 1898 poster!
Unused!!
Rolled, never folded. Well preserved. Very little general storage wear. Very
minor edge wear. We repaired on the back with acid free removable archival
tape a 2" clean tear on the bottom border. |

This is what all you Disney fans
have been waiting for! This is the only one available for sale ANYWHERE!!
Original early Disney posters are highly sought after by collectors AND non
collectors making them extremely difficult to acquire. These VERY RARELY come up
for sale.
This is a beautiful example of an
original 27"x41" U.S. one sheet movie poster from the classic "PLUTO AT THE
ZOO". These are very difficult to find in ANY condition! A long time can go by
without one of these coming up for sale. Gently used and well preserved. Prior
to linen backing this was in fantastic C7 condition. Now it looks SPECTACULAR!!

was restored. This poster needed VERY LITTLE restoration. As can be seen in the
photos prior to linen backing, the fold lines needed virtually no touch up.
There were no major flaws that needed addressing, just a series of very minor
ones. This really is in truly fantastic condition for a 60+ year old poster!
When buying collectibles it is
always wise to buy "the best of the best" as they stand a greater chance of
appreciation. This poster is considered to be within that class and is
definitely INVESTMENT QUALITY.

EXTREMELY RARE COMPARED TO A ONE SHEET. A vertical format
American movie poster measuring 30" x 40" printed on a very heavy card stock
material. Most 30" x 40"’s feature the same artwork as the one sheet and were
issued rolled to the theatre exchanges. The National Screen Service number is
normally found on the side on the poster, as opposed to the lower bottom as is
the case with one-sheets. VERY difficult to find in Near Mint condition because
the card stock can crease easily. Does not need to be backed or restored. Studios have stopped issuing these. |

The Advance One
Sheet for PULP FICTION was recalled due to a dispute with Lucky Strike (a Lucky Strike
cigarette pack appears on this poster). There are a ZILLION licensed AND
unlicensed reprints/bootlegs of this
one sheet, always on ebay being sold as originals when they are not. They
were printed soon after the recall so they have been around just as long as the
original, fooling many collectors and dealers. THESE ARE NOT ORIGINAL MOVIE
POSTERS, THEY ARE REPRODUCTIONS. Some (not all) of
the bootlegs have been stamped on the back with an authentic looking "Miramax"
stamp. Some
bozo in Rochester N.Y. got the bright idea of putting a Miramax stamp on them to try and make them appear more authentic. The problem is
that MIRAMAX
HAS NEVER PUT A STAMP ON ANY MOVIE POSTER. THIS IS A COLD HARD FACT!! See if
you can find another Miramax film with a stamp on the back of its
poster....you can't. And, these "Miramax stamped" bootlegs are IDENTICAL
to the reproduction poster. The printing quality is also very poor when
compared side by side with a known original.
Posters with this stamp on the
back are NOT AUTHENTIC.
The original measures EXACTLY 27
1/8" x just over 40" and the paper is on a heavier stock than the
bootleg/repro. If
you look closely at the top edge of the original poster there are white "crackles". On
the bootleg these are cut off slightly. Also, on the bootleg there are white
"specks" on Uma's cleavage. The bootleg is smaller and measures exactly 26 7/8"
x 39 13/16".

ours to be an original. The quality of the paper is better/thicker, there are no
"specks" on Uma's shoulders/breasts, and the print quality is much better
than the reprints. This came straight from a 50 ct box from Miramax, and
again there is NO MIRAMAX STAMP on the back!! There were two authorized
print runs back before the film was released. BOTH are original. The first printing measures
27x41 while the second printing measures 27x40. Another close up
