Walt
Disney’s “Fantasia”, original U.S. 6 Sheet. The original
“Apprentice” dominates this spectacular and important treasure of Disney
history. Rare is not the word, this poster is the only
known copy in existence, not even Disney’s Studio owns a copy of this
masterpiece. For those of you who have followed the
Disney/Mickey Mouse collectible market, you know that these pieces have
continued to rise at an exponential rate in prices realized.
You will not find anything close to this artwork for the Fantasia
title. Unfortunately Disney chose to use the less
desirable artwork for the smaller one sheets, half sheets etc.
Imagine what a Fantasia one sheet would fetch with this artwork!
Amazingly, this 6 sheet is in stunning original condition with only a
tiny amount of restoration to a few of the fold lines; absent are the
over-restored areas, painted borders and reconstructed missing pieces that
are unfortunately so commonly seen in pieces of this age.
Poster has been linen backed and exquisitely framed behind UF3
Plexiglas. The photographs were taken to the best of the
poster surroundings, hence the refractions of light and objects that appear
in the reflections off the Plexiglas.

A beautiful image of this character from this classic Disney film short. One
of the best of the Silly Symphonies, this film won an Academy Award.

An extremely popular
and very rare HORIZONTAL format
American movie poster measuring approx. 41" x 54". Subway sheets are printed on a
thicker paper than one-sheets. Most contain the same artwork as the advance
materials, and are almost always issued as "advances." They are most often found
in subway displays. These posters can be either rolled or folded. Some
collectors like the subway sheet because there are fewer of them released. They
are somewhat large and cumbersome, but because they are printed on a thick
paper, they are more durable. Still used
today. HIGHLY DESIRED DUE TO ITS HORIZONTAL FORMAT AND EXTREME SCARCITY!

This is what
all you SURFERS have been waiting for! This is a beautiful example of an
original set of 27"x41" U.S. one sheet movie posters from the classic
"FOLLOW ME". These are very difficult to find in any condition! This is a
set of 6 color progressive proofs and 1 finished poster. These aren't
supposed to exist!! These proofs were meant to be looked over for print
quality control, and then thrown away. An employee at the printing plant
thought they looked neat and decided to save them....back in 1969!! This is
the only set in existence.
Color progressive
proof sets for movie posters are extremely, extremely rare. We have only seen
them for 3 other titles....and they were for pretty ugly posters. This one sheet
has a beautiful design!!
ROLLED, never folded. UNUSED!! Graded C9-C10 Near Mint to Mint condition.
