Many of our posters are
Conservation Museum Mounted/Linen
Backed and ready for framing. Those that
aren't we can have mounted for you if desired.
When a poster has been linen backed and/or
restored,
grading the item can be difficult. A poster that was in poor condition could
have extensive restoration and appear to be in near mint condition. Only an
expert would be able to tell how much restoration was done. If a poster we have
has had any restoration, we describe its condition before and after whenever
possible.

EXTREMELY RARE COMPARED TO A ONE SHEET.
A vertical format American movie poster measuring 40"x60"
printed on a heavy card stock material. Most 40"x60"’s feature the same artwork
as the one sheet and were issued rolled. They were primarily offered
for major motion pictures only and were displayed both inside and outside of
theatres. A 40x60 poster display would cost the theater up to 20 times
as much as a one sheet to rent. Only a few hundred of these were printed, and it was only
printed once. Unlike the one sheet which was printed in quantities of 10,000 and
up. The NSS number is normally found on the side on the poster, as opposed to
the lower bottom as is the case with one-sheets. VERY difficult to find in Near
Mint condition
because the card stock can crease easily. Studios have stopped issuing these. |

The 70's controversial
extremely violent classic. Our tri-fold one sheet and our regular folded one
sheet are both perfect/flawless except for the
NSS info stamp which VERY VERY LIGHTLY lightly shows through a little to the
front on the top corner. This is very slight and hardly noticeable but it is
worth mentioning. Click

done with three horizontal creases and one vertical. A tri-fold was never
folded vertically. Very rare and very desirable. Beware of fake 14x36
inserts for this title!! |
